Visit to Madagascar
In early March Bride Counihan travelled to Madagascar to visit two L.S.A. projects that are supported by Misean Cara the Irish Government agency and other donors.
Her journey brought her to Anatananariva the capital to Fianarantosa where the sisters are.
The reality of poverty was striking through the whole journey, the sisters work with families and groups in great need as there are no Health services and education is out of reach for most people.
Bride learned much on her journey, her account brings us into the lives and work of the sisters and their co-workers in an incredibly challenging yet hopeful world.
